Medical Model Provincial Assembly (MPA) 2020 was organized in collaboration with Nepal Health Corps (NHC) with the main aim to get the medical students acquainted with the procedures of provincial assembly. The program was a simulation of the Provincial Assembly of Bagmati Province. Due to the large number of interested participants, the program was conducted in two phases, each phase being concluded in two days. On the first day of each phase, the Province Medical Service Act, 2019 was proposed and discussed in the assembly while on the second day, the report from each parliamentary committee was presented and the bill was passed by the assembly as conclusion to the program. The special
presence of Hon. Gagan Thapa, Dr. Kishor Adhikari, Dr. Bhojraj Adhikari, and Prof. Dr. Haris Chandra Neupane encouraged the energy of participants.
