Virtual parliamentary committee simulation and report submission on Marijuana Farming Management Bill was organized with active participation of youths from
different fields, more specifically from law, medicine, and public policy with the main aim to discuss the particular Bill and to propose lawmakers with the amendments to be brought within the Bill. The program was held in two phases
where the first phase consisted of workshops, discussion with experts and committee simulation whereas the second phase included the submission of committee reports to concerned personas. Committee reports were sent to experts for further modification and best suit in the scenario of Nepal before submitting into the Hon. Parliamentarians who introduced the particular private Bill in the House of Representatives. Finally, the report was submitted to Hon. Sher Bahadur Tamang, and Hon. Birodh Khatiwada through Model Federal Assembly Simulation. Apart from this, participants raised the issues of concerns for the society during the discussion with the panel including Hon. Sher Bahadur Tamang, Hon. Birodh Khatiwada and Senior Advocate Hon. Sabita Bhandari.
